The course is intended for Plant Applications The course is intended for Plant Applications Administrators and power users that are responsible for configuration and support of the solution.

Course Overview:
Plant Applications Fundamentals will cover how to configure and maintain Plant Applications software. This course provides an introduction to essential Plant Applications administrator capabilities and applications. This includes learning to configure the
plant model, products, events and activities. Navigating the Web Client and running Web Displays will also be covered. Valuable hands-on lab exercises are provided which guide students through the configuration of out-of-the-box solution capabilities.

The following topics will be covered in this session:

  • Exploring the Plant Applications architecture and
    its components.
  • Creating, configuring and implementing a Plant
    Model.
  • Creating aggregate and custom calculations.
  • Configuring Event Models.
  • Configuring Production Unit Events and Activities.
  • Defining and applying specifications.
  • Applying alarm rules in Plant Applications.
  • Using Plant Applications Web Displays.
  • Applying the Plant Applications Security Model.

In-Person Classes - In person classes are held over a 4-day period, with classes running from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Office doors open at 8:00 am, and morning pastries, lunch, and snacks will be provided throughout the day. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions and we will be more than happy to accommodate them. Wireless internet will be available, and all training laptops, equipment, and materials will be provided. Details on venue and times will be emailed two weeks prior to the class start date.

Distance Learning Classes - The Distance Learning classes will be held over a 5-day period, with each session running from 8 AM to 3 PM (EST) with an hour break for lunch and, depending on progress, smaller breaks in between lectures and labs. Students are also encouraged to set aside additional time to complete lab assignments as required. Two weeks prior the event, a confirmation email, including classroom link and schedule will be sent. Training materials are included.

 

Tuition: $1,900 billed in advance with Check, Credit Card or Purchase Order. Those wishing to pay via check or invoice must email orders@secure279.inmotionhosting.com or call 508-830-0088 option 4. Once payment has been received, you will be added to the class registration list. The above link to the Cvent registration is for credit card orders only. If you are a Solution Provider or OEM and will be using one of your free training seats, please contact Nicole Brocco at nbrocco@secure279.inmotionhosting.com. Once free seat is confirmed with GE, you will be registered for the training class.

Cancellation Policy:

If your plans or budgets change, you may cancel your registration up to 15 calendar days prior to the start of the course without incurring a cancellation or rescheduling fee. Limited enrollment requires us to charge up to 75% of the tuition for cancellations received within 14 days of the scheduled start date. 100% of the tuition will be charged for a failure to attend without 24-hour notice, or for leaving a class prematurely.GE Digital and AutomaTech reserve the right to cancel a class at least 2 weeks prior to the course's start date. In this event of a cancellation, you will be notified immediately and a full refund of the course tuition will be provided. GE Digital and AutomaTech are NOT responsible for any non-refundable travel arrangements.

Student Travel & Living Expenses are the responsibility of the customer and are not included as part of your tuition fee. GE Digital and AutomaTech reserves the right to cancel a class at least 2 weeks prior to the course's start date.
